Cookie Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies are, for what purpose and on what legal basis we use them on the eams.pl website (the “Website”), and how you can manage your consents. This policy supplements the Privacy Policy.

1. Controller

The controller of the Website and the data is xSecure Wojciech Ogrodniczuk, ul. Szkolna 17/10, 05-500 Piaseczno, Poland, Tax ID (NIP): 712-306-11-84. Contact: via the contact form on the website.

2. What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files saved on your device by the browser. We also use technologies with similar functionality, such as localStorage, to remember your preferences. In the rest of this document, “cookie” also refers to these technologies.

3. Which files we use

3.1. Necessary and functional (no consent required)

Required for the Website to work properly and to remember your choices. Used on the basis of Article 173(3) of the Polish Telecommunications Act (storage necessary to provide a service requested by the user) — they do not require consent.

NameTypePurposeDuration
eams_cookielocalStorageRemembers your cookie decision (accept all / necessary only)until removed by the user
eams_langlocalStorageRemembers the selected language (PL/EN/DE)until removed
eams_curlocalStorageRemembers the selected currency (PLN/EUR)until removed

3.2. Analytics (only with your consent)

Used to create anonymous traffic statistics in order to improve the Website. Used only after consent is given — on the basis of Article 173(1) of the Polish Telecommunications Act and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Until consent is given they are not installed (we use Google Consent Mode — “denied” by default).

If you give consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (provider: Google Ireland Limited). The following files are then installed, among others:

NameProviderPurposeDuration
_gaGoogleDistinguishing users (identifier)up to 2 years
_ga_<ID>GoogleMaintaining session state (GA4)up to 2 years
_gidGoogleDistinguishing users24 hours
Google Analytics — additional information.

As of publication, the Website may not have active analytics — it will be enabled only after deployment and solely on the basis of your consent.

4. Legal bases

5. Consent and its withdrawal

On your first visit we display a banner where you can accept all cookies or choose necessary only — both options are equal. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the Website footer, and by clearing the Website’s data in your browser. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can manage cookies yourself in your browser settings (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), including blocking and deleting them. Restricting necessary files may affect how the Website works.

7. Recipients and retention period

Data from analytics cookies is processed on our behalf by the tool provider (Google) as a processor; retention periods are indicated in the tables above. Statistical data in GA4 is retained in line with the service settings (14 months by default).

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to rectify, erase or restrict its processing, the right to object, and the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) in Poland. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to the policy

We may update this policy (e.g. after deploying new tools). The current version is always available on the Website together with the date of the last update.

10. Contact

For matters concerning cookies and personal data, please use the contact form.
